 1. Festivals
The treasure of folk cultural heritage is rich in identity and is quite rich in many different forms. Festivals of ethnic groups in Sa Pa are very special, and they are also bold with many ancient religious elements. The festival takes place in the early spring months and is mainly within a village. However, in Muong Hoa, some festivals extend to an entire region, an ancient Muong. The H'mong people have a ceremony "No Song" (an oath at the beginning of the year) held on the first day of the first month in the forbidden forest of the whole village. After making offerings to the gods, everyone in the village discussed the construction of the incense. A year, the Mong people have up to 1 ceremony, including the "Tu su" ceremony to worship the green dragon which is very attractive. 2. Customs
The customs of the ethnic groups in Sa Pa have many unique features, associated with the human life cycle, the cycle of crops and livestock. It is the same ceremony to name a newborn baby, but each ethnic group has a different ritual. In the Tay, only grandmothers have the right to name grandchildren. In Xa Pho people, only shaman or brother-in-law,brother-in-law (uncle) has the right to name the child. H'mong people name babies in the sound of vibrating music, the lullaby of their grandmothers. The wedding customs of different ethnic groups are also very different. The wedding ceremony of the Mong people is a unique folk cultural activity. In Their wedding ceremony has the custom of "pulling the wife", there are rituals of the matchmaker's singing (singing to open the door, singing for a place to hang an umbrella, singing for medicine, wine, etc.). The wedding ceremony of the Red Dao people uses a lively orchestra consisting of trumpets, drums, gongs, and Thanh la. In particular, there are 72 songs blowing during the wedding ceremony, including songs to invite ancestors, set up a trumpet table, announce the news, greet the wedding master, greet the matchmakers...
