Introduction about Hue biking tour

Hue is the former capital of Vietnam. Time has passed, but the magnificent relics of Hue remain forever, One day biking tour around Hue bringing a lot of emotions and love to the poetic land of Hue. More over, during the trip of biking we stop to visit three Nguyen Emperors’ most magnificent tombs: Khai Dinh, Minh Mang & Tu Duc and more understand about about Hue’s royal history, culture and people of Hue.

Full itinerary of Hue biking tour

In the morning, guide will pick you up at your hotel then bike to see Khai Dinh tomb, on the way from Hue city to Khai Dinh Tomb we stop to photo countryside sceneries. The tomb is on low hill, we walk up 29 steps to reach the tomb. First thing we see is imperial audience court, in the centre of which stands the octagonal stele monument also made of reinforced concrete. Farther on both sides of the courtyard, there are two rows of statues are facing towards the court center. In addition to these statues, similar to those of the other tombs, there are six more couples representing bodyguard soldiers and more things to see.

When we finish visiting Khai Dinh tomb, continue to bike to Tu Duc tomb, the biking road is rough, but it bring you interesting experience about local life and nature. The biking time is about15 minutes.

After that you enjoy lunch at local restaurant before you biking to Minh Mang tomb.

Minh Mang tomb is a special  architectural complex consisting of 40 small constructions (palaces, temples, pavilions, etc.) designed on a symmetric axis running from Dai Hong gate to the foot of La Thanh (Surrounding Wall) behind the Emperor's tomb.

Finish visiting three above tombs, we return to hotel.
